How to get a hole-in-one in mini golf
A hole-in-one in mini golf is not just luck. Many holes are designed with an ace line: a bank, a ramp or a slope that funnels the ball to the cup.
Look for the designed line
Designers often hide an ace route: a ramp that feeds the cup, a rail that banks perfectly, or a bowl around the hole. Read the hole for features that point at the cup.
Pick your moments
Go for the ace when a miss still leaves an easy second putt. If a miss means water or a long bounce back, play for two.
Slow and on line
Holes-in-one usually arrive slowly. A ball dying into the cup drops from more angles than a fast one.
Practice the same hole
In Pocket Golf you can replay any hole. Replaying a short par 2 until you find its ace line is the fastest way to learn how the ball behaves.
Questions
What are the odds of a hole-in-one in mini golf?
It depends on the hole. Short, straight holes are aced often; long holes with hazards rarely. Reading the hole raises your odds a lot.
Does a hole-in-one count as an ace?
Yes. A hole-in-one, or ace, means sinking the ball with your first putt.
