The boss hole
White ball: the tee. Yellow flag: the cup. Blue patches are the pond.
What you'll meet
- Walls. Walls block the straight line. Bank off them: the ball leaves a wall at the angle it arrived, a little slower.
- Hazards. A ball in the hazard costs one putt and goes back to where that putt started. Play the safe side.
- Sand. Sand slows the ball fast. Putt around it, or hit harder if you must go through.
- Hills. Hills pull the ball downhill the whole way. Aim uphill of the cup and let the slope bring it back.
- Bumpers. Round bumpers kick the ball back harder than a wall. Aim off their edge to send it sideways.
- Ice. Ice barely slows the ball. Pull back less than you think and use the rails to stop it.
- Arrows. Arrow pads push the ball along them. Use them to reach far cups with a soft putt.
- Rings. Roll into one ring and come out of its twin at the same speed and heading. Plan the line from the far ring.
